Special Saudi passport-holders not required France visa

The  French embassy in Riyadh informed that, the special passport holders in Saudi Arabia will not required France visa to stay in France for not more than 90 days, after April 1.

The diplomatic mission said that, “Therefore, the French embassy will no longer issue Schengen short stay visas on such passports.”

The embassy said that, travellers  who required a  Schengen visa to travel another  Schengen country are needed to submit their visa applications  to the  concerned embassy.

The ministry of foreign affairs instead of the General Directorate for Passports has issued the special passports in Special passports in Saudi Arabia. These passports are given in the specific categories civilian and military.

The special passport holders are allowed to take benefit of certain schemes regarding visas and processing at airports.
