There will be a three-day weekend for public sector staff to mark UAE National Day and Commemoration Day.

The Federal Authority for Government Resources announced the holidays announced that, employees of ministries and federal government departments will be off from December 1 to December 3. Work will resume on Sunday, December 4.

The authority extended its greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE.

No details regarding a private sector holiday have been revealed as of yet.
