Members of the Indian community in Dubai paid  tributes to the chief architect of the Indian constitution,Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.Indian community members gathered at the Indian consulate  on  his 125th birth anniversary.

The Consulate General of India  organized the event in association with Ambedkar International Mission. The program was  inaugurated by Consul General Anurag Bhushan.

Bhushan said that, “India celebrates today the birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar. He remains an inspiration for millions of Indians and proponents of equality and social justice across the globe.”

“Not only the repressed classes, but the Indian society as a whole owe a debt to this great humanitarian and social reformer for the awakening he brought about,” the consul general added.
