Huawei MatePad Mini has been introduced in global markets, featuring an 8.8-inch display that offers a 2.5K resolution and can refresh at a maximum rate of 120Hz. This latest tablet from Huawei operates using HarmonyOS 4.3.0 and includes a battery capacity of 6,400mAh, capable of charging at 66W. The device showcases a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera and has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Huawei MatePad Mini is available in configurations with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and it comes with 256GB of storage as standard. It is equipped with dual speakers and accepts inputs via the Huawei M-Pencil Pro. It is expected to rival the Apple iPad mini, although the global availability and price of the Huawei MatePad Mini have not yet been disclosed. The company has listed the device on its official global website in two colors: Graphite Black and Spruce Green. In China, the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 43,000).

For photography, the tablet incorporates a dual rear camera system, which features a 50-megapixel primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. This camera setup comes with an LED flash and is capable of recording up to 4K video, including electronic image stabilization. On the front, a 32-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls. The connectivity features on the Huawei MatePad Mini include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, OTG support, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS.
